ddate

Gives the current date in the Discordian Calendar. Included is a ruby library for handling Discordian dates, for all of your pentamerous reasoning and scheduling.

A cross-platform ruby implementation of the unix command ddate.

Update! Now you can get the Discordian date corresponding to any given Julian date

Installing

$ sudo gem install ddate

(requires ruby and ruby-gems)

Usage

It’s as simple as it gets:

$ ddate
Pungenday, 7 of Confusion 3173 YOLD
$ ddate 5/31/2007
Sweetmorn, 5 of Confusion 3173 YOLD and the holiday of Syaday
